This unique clay pottery cup was created during the Classical Period of the Mayan civilization, between 600 and 900 AD. It depicts the revered Snake God Quetzalcoatl and was used in important ceremonial events. The cup is handmade with intricate details and is a beautiful representation of Mayan culture.
This Mayan Ceremonial drinking vessel has been in my family as far back as I can remember.
