It is a small size perhaps a 5. I wear a ladies 7 and couldnt get it past my first knuckle, It is slightly bent, but not rusted through and the insignia is still pretty clear. I purchased this over 10 years ago from an estate of a missionary who traveled and had a house full of ancient artifacts from all over the world. I recently re-discovered this ring while going through some boxes of stored items. This ancient Hellenistic Greek iron signet ring, dates to the between 1st- 3rd century B.C. based on research. The ring is deeply engraved with an image of A man, perhaps a warrior or God,, I will take enough pictures so that maybe someone who knows these rings better can decide. It's is a very nice ancient ring. Age has worn the ring a bit and not as clear as when it was made, but still left enough of the detail to firmly identify the image. This ring was highly esteemed among the military and warriors The strength. Bronze and iron rings were more sought after than gold since gold was considered effeminate. For this ring to be over 2200 years old, it is still strong and intact. Nice patina for the age, with a minimum of rust. With a little cleaning and care, this ring could be worn today!!
