Albatross Electronics is an electronics recycling facility located in Toledo, Ohio.We are resellers of the electronics we recycle and are dedicated to providing our customers with quality items. Most of the items we sell on eBay are USED unless labeled otherwise.
Most of the items we post are USED. We do, on occasion, post BRAND NEW items. The item description will be clear and there will be no question as to what the condition is. We will not be held responsible for customer error relating to condition of any items we post.
We accept Paypal, Visa and Mastercard. We also accept cash, when agreed on beforehand, with LOCAL ONLY pickups. Payment is expected within two(2) business days of the auctions close. If you are unable to pay within these time limits, you WILL have to message us and explain why and when you will be able to pay. If we have not heard from you within the two(2) business days, we reserve the right to re-list the item and open an “Unpaid Item” claim against you. We are fair when it comes to giving leeway on payments but your MUST message us and explain as well as set up a time and day that you can remit payment on.
If you have any questions about the item you are bidding on, please ask them BEFORE bidding or before auctions end. We will not accept questions about an item’s condition or function after the auction. If you fail to ask whatever questions you have before auctions end, and you are the winning bidder, you are still responsible for buying the item. If you do not pay for the item because you made a mistake that you did not rectify, an “Unpaid Item” case will be opened against you. We are fair and will answer any questions you have to the best of our abilities but it is also important for YOU to do YOUR research on the item as well. We deal with a huge volume of items and cannot test, learn and diagnose every problem with every item. It is the customer’s responsibility to do their research on what they are spending their money on.
We rarely issue refunds. We are upfront and honest about the condition of the items we post on eBay. If you have ANY questions, ask them BEFORE auctions end! We WILL NOT be held responsible for a customer’s mistakes. We will try to resolve any issue we have with a customer amicably but we will not be threatened or lied on. We expect the people we do business with to be mutually respectable.
Feedback will be left when the item is paid for withing the allocated 24 hours after auctions end. We will leave you feedback! We ask that you be professional and reciprocate. eBayers with less than 50 feedback MUST contact us to see if bidding is acceptable. We ask that, if you have a problem with the item, you do NOT leave negative feedback until contacting us to resolve the issue. Negative feedback hurts a sellers status. We will work with you but you must work with us as well.
We are very busy and we will do our best to answer any questions you have in a timely manner. We try to answer every question before auctions end as to give our bidders time to adjust and make a decision based on our answers. We need time to answer you. It is unrealistic to expect questions to be answered immediately. We WILL get back to you ASAP.
We use UPS Ground for 90% of the packages we ship.We also use Parcel Post for smaller packages and when asked to. Parcel Post is the option that takes the longest to ship. Usually, your package, depending on where you are located, will reach you within 7-10 days. On rare occasion’s i.e. holidays and weather prohibiting circumstances, your package may take up to two weeks. A tracking number will be provided upon request. We are NOT responsible for any issues you may face with the post office after we have dropped off the package and obtained tracking information. If you decide you do not want to ship through USPS, we will allow you to email us your own shipping labels through whichever carrier you decide to use. You MUST contact us prior to doing this though! Holidays are the exception. Shipping quite understandingly takes longer during Christmas and other lesser holidays. If this is unacceptable to you, DO NOT BID ON THE ITEM!
Hawaiian and Alaskan bidders MUST message us for shipping rates! They will be higher than stated on the auction!
DO ship internationally, however, the shipping cost as stated in the
auction will NOT apply to winning bidders in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico
and anywhere else in the world. The stated shipping cost is for those
in the lower 48 only! Upon auctions end, please request an total and you
will be invoiced with your particular shipping rate.
We DO allow local pickup, when agreed upon before auctions end, for an additional fee of $5.00. Winning bidders MUST contact us before auctions end to confirm!
