Vintage H.C. PRANGE CO. Department Store GIFT BOX Christmas 15"x12"x3"

It features the iconic Starburst,  Atomic image of the 1960s.  No funky or foul odors.  It was used to store Christmas ornaments.  There may be some glitter specs. The top would make a beautiful wall hanging if framed.

Growing up in Green Bay, WI, in the 70s, Pranges was a must-see at Christmas.  Their windows were turned into Christmas magic with mechanical figures that were ahead of their time. Some of these get displayed at museums during the holidays. If you get a chance, check them out.

The box has definitely been used.  The top is still very pretty and would display nicely.
