Wisconsin Sugar Lid Clear EAPG 3 15/16" U.S. GlassNo. 26,079 manufactured in Pittsburgh PA. at Factory "U". This lid has good color and clarity it is on the grey side of the spectrum of clear glass, this color is common to this pattern. Any colors in the photos are reflections of the outdoors or the garments I was wearing when photographing the glass. The finial on this charming lid leans as though it was taken out of the mould too soon, but the finial is in fine condition. There is a bit of undisolved mix in the very top of the finial. The edge of the rim is not smooth under a magnifing glass there are some tiny fleabites or minor mould roughness, inside of rim has a couple of flea bites. The collar below the finial has several large chips and some smaller ones on the edge. I do not know how it would be possible to inflict this damage without destroying the finial.There is at least one annealing mark at rim. There are little bubbles and waviness common to this era of glass. Please email with questions or comments.
