Baltimore Pear Lid Clear Adams & Company, Pittsburgh PA., circa 1874. The United States Glass Company,Pittsburgh PA at Facttory"A" circa 1891. EAPG Glows a spooky yellow green under the black light and the pears have little tiny lines at the top and the impression is finely detailed. This lid is 7 1/8" outside diameter, the inside of the flange is 6 7/16 outside of flange 6 11/16"  Color and clarity are in the normal range for this pattern, this piece is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections of the outdoors where I took the photos. Straw marks , waviness and bubbles common to this era of glass. This lid is not perfect there are two areas of chips on the flange and fleabites on flange and rim. There are several bubbles with very shot tails.There is a little wear in the form of light scratches on  the body and a couple of the pears. It is very light . Weight of the lid is 1.178 without packing.Top of finial is not pointed, not sharp looks like a manufacturing defect. Please email with questions or comments.
