For those who know Nikon, this is THE lens to have.  This lens is ruggedly built, extremely sharp zoom telephoto, with a fast f stop for great shots even in challenging light conditions.  Push/Pull zoom with autofocus, and extra low dispersion glass (ED) for high resolution.

This is my personal lens that I purchased in the mid-2000’s.  I sustained hand injuries shortly after, so I have only been able to use it about 6-8 times.  Since this lens is ‘built like a tank’, it is heavy so using a tripod is a must.  I would also recommend purchasing a lens collar for tripod mounting (which can be found on eBay, reasonably priced around $35). 

The lens is in mint condition, no flaws or damage as it has been stored carefully.   Tested earlier this week with my D300 and it functioned perfectly.  Comes with hard leather storage case (in original box), also included is a Tiffen, 77mm UV filter.  Described as accurately as possible and sold pictured -- if you have questions please do not hesitate to ask.  Low opening auction price, with no reserve.
