Description: This stunning set of six drawers in white lacquered chests form a modern, clean look together on their chrome-clad base. Designed and built in the 1970s by mid-century modern designers Thayer Coggin & Milo Baughman, the classic lines still form a style in demand today. This original set, complete with the maker's mark in a top drawer, are in impressive condition considering their vintage. While some wear and tear can be found in the mirror-like white lacquered finish, it just reveals their authenticity. We've loved this chest of drawers for the past several years but would like to find a new collector to take over their care as we transition to a different style. Please feel free to reach out for questions. We're happy to meet in the Museum District near Carytown in Richmond. Local pickup only, you will need to provide a vehicle appropriate to transport them. Dimensions:  Each chest: 31" wide x 18" deep x 22" high (with drawers in, not on the base) Base: 62.5" wide x 17" deep x 2" high (with adjustable feet to level or raise the set) A little about the designers, if you were unfamiliar: "From 1953 to 2003, Thayer Coggin and Milo Baughman collaborated on designs, engineering and manufacturing techniques that came to define the mid-century modern era of American residential furniture. Baughman's work was included in "High Styles: Twentieth Century American Design" at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and he was inducted in the the Furniture Hall of Fame in 1987 along with Thayer Coggin in 2004."
