This is an absolutely adorable ballerina costume. It can also double as a fairy costume with the addition of the "Fairy Kit" that includes the wings, flower ring and wand as shown on an Ameerican Girl Doll in picture # 2..
The long sleeved leotard is made of white Spandex swimsuit fabric. It has lots of stretch and goes on very easily. The leotard has a lavender rhinestud heart with a lilac ribbon rose on the chest.
The ultra full lavender tutu is actually 6 layers of tule with an elastic waist. Three of them are edged in wide lavender lace. The other three layers add extra poof.
This listing includes the leotard, tutu, white tights and the white ballet slippers.
The "Fairy Kit" is avaiilable for an additinal $8.00. The fairy wings are on elastic and easily slip over the doll's arms. The set also includes a sparkly fairy wand and a floral ring headpiece with ribbon trim. Please convo if you would like to add the kit to your order.
Seems are serged where appropriate.
A simiklar, but sleeveless costume is available for the 18" American Girl dolls or the 15" Bitty Baby dolls.
