Payment

McGrew Equipment accepts PayPal Payments through eBay for amounts of $1000 or LESS. We accept checks, wire transfers, credit cards (3% service charge) , cash and payment on pick up are all acceptable forms of payment.

Pennsylvania sales tax is 6% which applies to Pennsylvania residents and all items picked up in Pennsylvania at our location. If you are a farmer and the item purchased is for farm use, or if you are a dealer and have a valid Resale number, you can fill out a tax exemption form which will excuse you from paying the sales tax.  Payment in full is due within 7 days from auction end.  All items purchased from us can remain at our location for 30 days following the close of the auction without incurring any additional charges. However, if an item remains at our location for more than 30 days, the item can be resold to recover storage costs and the original purchaser will not receive any of the proceeds. Nonpayment will result in negative feedback. 

Terms Of Sale

This is an "AS-IS, where is" item.  Please keep this in mind when bidding. Look at all pictures closely, the pictures show the condition of the item in your opinion.  We explain all equipment to the best of our abilities and we are more than willing to attempt to answer any questions you may have.  The majority of the  equipment we handle is purchased from used equipment sources. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee the hours of service on any of the items we sell. We do guarantee that we never turn back hour meters or tachometers so the information we report for an item is taken directly from the specific meter. If a machine shows low hours or miles, etc. that do not appear to be correct, we will tell you that. Otherwise, our information is from the machine and is not guaranteed as to accuracy.  

All information we provide for items, such as serial numbers, weights, horsepower, lift capacities, year, etc., is taken from sources generally deemed to be accurate.  We do not guarantee that information but provide it for your assistance.   Again, we cannot make any quarantees, this item is sold AS-IS. If you have any hesitations about purchasing this item, please be warned before bidding, an item being sold "AS-IS, where is, with no guarantees" means when you purchase the item, it is yours. 
 

 If an item will not load onto a truck or your truck under its own power, we will either push it on or we will use the appropriate equipment to lift it onto the truck. You are then responsible for moving the item from our lot to your destination at your own expense, and the fact that it did not run is covered by the "as-is" designation. The shipping at your own expense explains the "where is" designation.  For those reasons, returns are not allowed. There may be more things wrong with this item than contained in the description, and they generally occur because they are hidden and cannot be seen when describing the item.

Shipping   We DO NOT offer free shipping.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and for making all shipping arrangements, but we can help with the arrangements if asked to do so.  You may contact our office in Seven Valleys, PA and speak with us about a quote.  You may reach us by telephone at 888-311-2811.   Although most of our auctions will end between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm ET, our offices will close at 5:00 pm ET, so freight quotes for items ending late will have to be requested the next day.  We are selling used equipment and we will, from time to time, miss something that is wrong with a piece of equipment. If you purchase a piece of equipment and you have it delivered to your location, regardless of whether you have inspected it or not, you are responsible for that shipping charge.  Freight charges, delivery fees, etc. are never refundable because of a defective machine because the equipment is used and it is being sold "as is where is". You always have the option of coming to our location to check out the item in person before paying to have it delivered.  All items can be picked up at our location by the purchaser or an authorized representative. We have several loaders and lifts on-site and a loading dock with several different heights. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm for pickups. We advise you to call our location at 888-311-2811 to make pickup arrangements so that we can have the item ready when you arrive.
