For auction is a John Deere 1 row planter equipped with model 71 flexi unit. Planter is in good condition. It has AcraPlant runners. The runners have a bracket for attaching the furrow opener discs to, which are included (see photo). Also included are new seed openers discs. Could be converted back to discs if wanted. Extra sprockets included for changing seed population. It has spring loaded covering blades. I will include milo/sorgum plates as well as 2 different corn plates. The 71 flex has been around a long time. Simple to use.
I have been around John Deere planters all my life and have been farming even longer:) I will try to help answer any questions about farming you may have. I was the first on ebay to build and sell a 2 row planter several years ago. And over the years, have figured out what works and what doesn't.

If calculator gives you anything much different, let me know and I will call in for quote. If using this option, I will set up the freight arrangements. OR...
2) Buyer can pick up here at the farm. OR...
3) I have several other options for shipping (listed below) if buyer wishes to contact someone else to ship. I can store as long as needed with prior arrangements. I can load onto trailer.
Option #1: Individuals that have hauled for me before.

Option#2: A couple of websites that bring shippers and shippees together.
Option#3: Website bulletin boards that have independent haulers advertising for loads. This may be your best bet for a single item, avoiding signins and account setups. You can almost always find someone going somewhere.
