This is a Johnson Viking Thunderbolt Amplifier.
It DOES NOT work.
Cosmetically it is in very good condition.
Front Panel lettering is crisp and clean.
Meters are excellent.
Tuning controls are all good and operate properly.
This amp was purchased from the original owner.
The original manual is included.

As you can see from the photos it is MISSING the following:
Pair of 4-400's
Power Transformer (Plate transformer)
Plate caps for 4-400's
Plate caps and leads for the 866A rectifiers
Fuse holder cover on rear apron.
Power Cord

As far as I can tell everything else is intact and original.
No other obvious modifications are apparent.
According to letters from E.F. Johnson which I found in the manual,
the original owner was trying to substitue another power transformer
which operated on 115 VAC and subsequently removed the orignal
transformer.
With very little work this amp can be made operational again !

This amp is extremely heavy, even without the power transformer.
Local Pickup in the Atlanta, GA area is preferred.
But I will ship. The UNBOXED weight is 71 lbs !
If shipping is required I will double box and foam pad as necessary.
Tubes will be shipped separately to prevent damage.
