This is a flawless "cameo" proof strike; the backgrounds are perfect reflective "blazing-mirrors" and the designs are frosty white. The contrast between the mirror-like backgrounds and designs is stunning! It's die-struck in the USA, (not a cheap cast-metal junker from China or Korea), and is richly layered with 150 mils of shimmering .999 fine pure silver. It measures 39 mm, which is a bit larger than the old U.S. silver dollars that were so popular in Las Vegas gambling casinos in years gone by. Add this one to your collection today ... or just have fun flipping for drinks ... or give it away as a gag to a friend who has everything.
Note: This is NOT one of those cheesy looking junk-metal concoctions embellished with a tasteless colorization process used to hide the low quality, simplicity and flat relief of the designs. Those Chinese and Korean made junkers are a plague on eBay but are NOT what we offer! Our coins are die-struck in the USA on high tonnage presses by American workers with expensive dies made by the most talented artisans! You pay more for our coins BUT take a look at the quality, the higher relief of our designs and the metals we use!

A Word About Toning: While many of the coins, medals, bars, etc., that we sell are freshly minted from our own dies (or the dies of our associates) and will appear bright and shiny as if they were minted yesterday, it should be noted that some of our supplies of collectables were minted years ago, sometimes as few as just five years ago and at other times over 100 years ago or longer. In time, most metals tone (or tarnish). This is inherent to most metals and particularly true of silver. As such you will may see some mild toning on some of the coins we sell. In the numismatic hobby, the removal of toning (or what those unfamiliar with the hobby might call tarnish) is often frowned upon. Many, including myself, enjoy attractive toning as it adds to the originality and charm of an older coin, and as such we prefer to not remove it. If you are one of those who does not appreciate the appearance of toning, please use a safe non-abrasive coin or jewelry "dip" to remove the toning, (such as Tarnex or Jewel-Luster), follow the directions and pat the coin dry with a paper towel (do not rub). If you have any concerns about toning that you'd like to discuss, do not hesitate to call or email us.
Foreign orders cost more to ship; please contact us for an estimate of those costs before bidding.
PLEASE - IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO PAY THE POSTAGE AND INSURANCE TO YOUR COUNTY -- DO NOT BID!!!!
