PA Inspection is CURRENT till August 2013. Vehicle was driven daily before it's "build".
I purchased this last year to build into a rock crawler. This is my 10th
Suzuki. However I then purchased a boat. And since I like my first wife
and have two other toys (see pictures) I need to sell one. She let me
keep her in the garage all winter long so my brother-in-law and I can
So here's the skinny. It's an 8V 1.6L with Automatic. It's still a rock
virgin, the frame can attest to that. The Swampers are 32x11.50 SSR
Radials - YEP $1550 for the set new! The wheels are from Summit Off-road
and are 1.44" thick Alloy designed for Rock Crawling (they are as heavy
as steel wheels but 4x stronger - you'll see the thickness at the
lugs). The Suspension is PURE CALMINI! The highly saught after 5" Super
Flex system with upper and lower rear control arms w/heim jointed watts
linkage as well as the front A-Arms and Diff Drop. The front skid plate
is from Low Range Off-road and it's TOUGH. Also the Calmini brace and
steering damper is NEW as is the Idler Arm Brace, also Calmini. The body
lift is 2" from LRO as well and there are extra pucks if you want to
brace up the frame to body in certain areas, I did the usual 4 spots.
The struts are also BRAND SPANKING new and the strut spacers are not the
Calmini units, rather I prefered something a bit stronger so I used
LRO's upper Alloy units with single piece bolts - The calmini ones I saw
sheer in Moab a few years back.
Where are the bumpers? I have them. You'll be taking them if you want
them but I seriously doubt you'll stick them back on... You need a winch (Included but not pictured is a brand new 5000lb Badlands winch) and some
tow points - you need to buy or build some serious bumpers. Check
Low-Range Offroad as well as the usual suspects at Rock-Road and Trail
Stereo and all 4 speakers are new along with an 8" powered sub under the drivers seat. Stereo is AM/FM/MP3/iPod - No CD and to be honest do you really still use them? Speakers are also new, Infinity in the rear, JVC DRVR's up front.
The bad... Aside from a ton of new parts and add-ons I am disabled and
thus needed the help from Bro-N-Law. So where we stopped at the rear
shocks need a spacer on the bottom mount. Right now they rub the coil
springs. 1" spacer and your good.
The body lift has pegged the t-case shifter into 4wd. Obviously this is an easy fix but I'm working two jobs and have no time.
The last part is the TOE! I'll see if I can adjust the toe out a tad.
It's really toe-in right now and that's just gonna toe-up the tires so
expect to tow it away on a flat bed.
A/C is in there - YEP AIR CON! But the pump is bad. I had it checked and
that was the result. It's about $150 for a recon unit or goto Harry's
and pull one for $35 - I was up there 2 months ago and they have 2 LSI's
and about 8 total units.
The rear 3/4 crossmember has the usual rust as well but LRO sells replacement units that can also raise the gas tank 2" (via body lift) for $150. It's fine for now but it will need to be done at some time.
You will want to re-gear this. Because it's a 91 Auto it has 4.62 gears
(Samurai owners will want these) so the gears from a 89-95 MANUAL model
are 5.12 gears, or PERFECT for 32" tires (which it has! I was thinking
ahead on this one). There's an ebay seller that has these in stock,
shipped for $250 and ready to drop in. Buy a locker at the same time and
cut the labor in half.
The engine and
tranny were just serviced and the power steering fluid was flushed and
replaced. I'll toss in some other goodies at that price. Or hell
negotiate but bring Cash, Certified Check.
The rig is in my driveway and available for viewing all day long. We
have security cameras so I'm not worried. Doors are locked.
We are about 20mins EAST on RT 22 from Harrisburg and 40mins North on
RT72 of Lancaster. 30mins from Reading and about 26mins to Rauche Creek
Mileage : 153k - Runs PERFECT - New Water pump, hoses, belts, timing belt, adjusted valves, Mobil 1 Synthetic oil.
Title is CLEAN PA title - not a flood vehicle.
QUESTIONS? PLEASE ASK! Selling this at No Reserve, As-is (it's an older truck but it's a Suzuki and built tough).
