RHC #101 FRENCH DOOR MORTISE LOCK: VERY NICE, 1" BS, 5" FACE (19657-6)

Vintage:  circa 1910-1930 RHC French door mortise lock #10\1 with a        5" brass faceplate & and key.  Restored. 

Has a brass faceplate, works great, 5" faceplate that measures 3/4" wide. 

The drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the small round portion at the top of the key hole) is 2 3/16".

Box measures 1 9/16" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back of the box.  The box measures 3 9/16" top to bottom.

The backset, the measurement from the front edge of the faceplate to the center of the knob post hole is 1".  The lock is reversible.

Exceptional small lock, great for a French door or window or any cabinet.  Has a normal 5/16" knob post hole. 

Made by Reading Hardware Company one of America's many high quality manufacturers of builder's hardware during the second half of the 19th Century and early 20th Century.
