I used this for lunch a few times and then it went back in the closet to collect dust.  I did have Filson modify the pockets to have the snaps put out on loops so you can actually close them without crushing the contents in the pockets or reaching inside the bag to put pressure on them. The straps are from their field jackets at the time so it's all 100% Filson materials and work. (See pictures) If you don't like them, the original snaps are still there. You can remove the stitching and go back to the original design. Includes should strap.
