Extremely rare very large art nouveau jugendstil tray manufactured by WMF Germany around 1905.
The tray, or salver, is probably the largest one ever we ever saw manufactured by WMF, especially in this combination of copper and brass,
Very unusual design featuring an array of Art Nouveau influences:
There is the whiplash, for which WMF designs were famous, the ginkgo berry, and other secession inspired motifs which makes their complete integration in this creation all the more remarkable.
Condition: Very good, some wear
