This rare and early tool has been carved with a wonderful distal beak burin. This has made by dihedral bone flake reduction. The bone tapers towards the proximal end and may well have served as an end scraper. It is possible that it was used in garment/textile production. A rare and collectable tool that is in museum grade condition. Found Northfleet, Kent. C 35,000 - 30,000 years BPE Length: 110 mm Width: 45 mm Thickness: 5 mm Weight: 29.3 grams As I have personally found each artefact in my collection, I am able to offer a money back guarantee of authenticity. The area where this tool was found has been subjected to a great deal of construction activity, including road and railway building, it is likely that it was disturbed through these activities. _gsrx_vers_779 (GS 7.0.4 (779)) Condition: A genuine artefact with provenance., Type: Burin, Provenance: Ownership History Available, Material: Bone, Colour: natural
