This auction is for one copy of the leather-bound, clamshell-boxed Limited Edition Shock SuspenStories Volume 2 from the EC Archives series. This limited edition was signed individually by Jack Kamen and is one of the 300 numbered copies.
I started publishing the ultimate EC
collectors volumes, the EC Archives in 2006. EC Archives was launched
with WEIRD SCIENCE One, with a foreword by my friend George Lucas, and
SHOCK SUSPENSTORES One, with a foreword by my friend Steven Spielberg. These EC Archives Books are of the highest-quality, full color throughout.
Each volume of the EC Archives contains six complete EC comic books;
complete with the original letters pages and house ads, and adding a
page of commentary to each issue. At 11"x 8.5", the EC Archives books
are slightly smaller than the EC library books, and somewhat larger
than the original 10"x 7" comic books. This Volume 1 reprints issues 1-6.
