Fuzhou Cork Patchwork Began At The Beginning Of This Century.
From West Park Village, Fuzhou.
"The Cork Picture or "Ruanmu Hua" is an art of making pictures with the cork bark of trees like the Oriental oak. The cork is cut, carved and then arranged into three-dimensional pictures. The cork picture is now a product of the Fuzhou Arts and Pictures Factory."
There are 2 drilled holes in the frame, 1 on top & 1 through the bottom.
The holes were for LED Lighting for night time viewing but no longer in.
This frame base was also repaired at one time, please see pics.
