The Canon FD 100mm f/4 Macro is a special lens designed for both normal and close-up shots.  While it functions as a normal telephoto lens at shooting distances up to infinity, its special construction permits focusing down to 45cm for a maximum magnification of ½ X. Its’ construction consists of 3 groups with 5 elements. It accepts 52mm filters and attachments. An added accessory, the Canon extension tube FD 50-U can be used for more macro possibilities. This lens is designed to work with Canon manual focus SLRs such as the AE-1, F-1, F-1N, FTb, A-1, Program, EF, and T-series. The FD lenses are known for their outstanding quality but are NOT designed for use on Canon digital SLRs such as the Canon Rebel.

The lens featured in this listing is in excellent condition and fully functional. The recessed glass is clean, clear and free from scratches.  The aperture blades are oil and corrosion free with snappy action.  The barrel shows signs of minimal use with some faint scratches. Focusing is smooth. Attached to the lens is a Promaster Spectrum 7 Skylight 1A filter. This lens comes with Canon front and rear caps. The original manual is also included with this lens.  This lens would be a great addition to a Canon FD SLR outfit.

Return Policy: While we strive to make our buyers happy by putting honest descriptions and high resolution pictures of the items we sell, most of the equipment we sell is used, and if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please return the item or items within 30 days and we'll gladly refund your money. This applies to majority of the items we sell with the exception of items marked for parts or repair; those are sold as is instead of offering a 30 day return privilege.
