When ordering, please let us know if you would like to have the bow tie made as a broach, or tied around the neck. If you order it as a broach, you can use it not only as a bow tie, but also pin it to your purse, hat, scarf, jacket, vest or dress or use it as a hair ornament.
Penelope will also cater to anyone's fancy by making custom designs to order. If you like the fabric, but would like to have a different model of the bow tie, just let us know - in most cases it is possible.
Cleaning your bow tie: don't wash your bow tie, since many of them have adhesive fabric used inside, and it can loose its shape after washing. If it gets dirty, clean it with a wet cloth right away. To freshen it up, you can iron it from the inside, and it will regain its poofiness.
