Artist, Painter, Teacher, Started a Cottage Industry in Patchinville (where she trained young women to work in her studio) in painting of crafts. Organized first branch of the NYS Home Bureau. Town of Wayland Historian, very active in Wayland School Parent-Teacher Association. In 1993, a file on Sally’s art and life was opened in The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. She never sought the limelight or promoted herself during her life, but lovers of folk art continue to discover her unique style almost 50 years after her death. Her art has been found for sale throughout the United States with the Internet providing a new outlet for active collectors.
