You are bidding on an engraved BANCO CENTRAL MEXICANO COUPON BOND dated Enero 2 de 1908. From the Mexican Federal District.
Apparently this is a Mexican Federal Government Bond issued just prior to the revolution.
A really unusual bond with lovely Aztec vignettes.
The bond is uncancelled and has 34 coupons attached.
A red 10 centavo revenue stamp is printed on the bottom front.
So far as I know the bond has no value other than to collectors.
The flattened out size is about 15 3/4" x 11 3/4".
Condition: Bond has a vertical bend in the center and two lighter vertical bends. There is also a horizontal bend and many other handling marks. There is also edge wear.
