This is a large Victorian lithograph placard of some kind, apparently given away to customers of the millinery company. It measures approximately 6" by 10.5" at the widest/tallest points. It has an image of a young girl sitting on a rug and holding a lute (?) or some other stringed instrument. Her dress is very sheer and she's wearing a red hat.
The card was carefully removed from an old Victorian trade card album and shows some moderate wear and tear. (our scanner makes it look much too gray, the colors are actually vivid). Thanks for looking.
