Up for bidding is a rare 100-year old Landers, Frary & Clark "Universal" Percolator/Serving Urn. This is non-electric and is powered by liquid fuel beneath the urn. This Percolator is complete (all the parts are there) and in excellent condition for its age, with no rust, dents or scratches. The coffee basket reads as follows: "Universal" Percolator Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn., U.S.A. Grind, Coffee, Medium, Fine No. 369, D.R.G.M. No. 271098. Pat'd May 22, 94; May 11, 97; July 12, 98; May 22, 06; July 16, 07. On the bottom of the liquid fuel container are the Patent dates of Mar. 20, '06 and July 17, '06. I see no reason why this percolator would not work just fine today, provided you put fuel in the container and light it! Please e-mail with any questions regarding this rare item.
