The photos were taken before it was removed from its original location in a mansion in western Belgium near the border with France. Note the size: the paneling is 8' 8" tall and the full height of the fireplace surround is over 13' (although it can be used without the top section and then is the same height as the paneling). It is constructed from solid oak with delicate marquetry inlay and beautiful quarter-sawn oak veneering on a framework of solid oak. It is very strongly built and shows no woodworm or dry rot whatsoever. The doors and frames in the photos are included but they are newer. The doors and frames in the photos are included but they are newer. Dimensions: The paneling is in four large sections. Each section is 8' 8" tall. The four panel section lengths vary slightly. Two are 10' 4" long, one is 9' 10" and one is 9' 5". The main fireplace section is the same height as the paneling-8' 8". The large box at the top of the fireplace is 4' 6" so the total height of the fireplace is 13' 2".
