This is an Early American Pattern Glass Pitcher (EAPG)  I called it an Axe handle because that is what it reminds me of.  The Handle is in excellent condition.this footed Pattern Glass pitcher has three varying rows of pebbled like glazed sand might feel.  The spout has no damage and starts at 9 in Tall and moves down the wonderful row of waves to approx 7-1/2 in Tall.  My last four photos show you areas of concern.  on of the ripples has what looks like a NIP and some extra GLASS, I would guess this is a makers flaw.  Below the spout you will see another magnified view of a fracture inside the glass, again I would guess a manufacturing flaw, There is no damage to the fingers on either side.  On the base I show you a picture of extra glass on the seam line.  There is no damage to the line.  You will see bubbles in the glass and straw marks here and there.  The fourth picture from the end shows the base and it show you two fracture lines coming from the foot up.  This is a very old pitcher and those that collect the Early pieces understand that a lot of this came from the making of these pieces and is considered normal.  This is a wonderful pitcher with a unique handle and a valuable piece for any early collection. Measurements::::  9 in tall at tallest base is 4 in wide x handle to spout is 8 in deep
