Baidun & Sons, Highly Respected Jerusalem Fine Antiquities Dealer This auction is for one of a number of pieces of ancient Greek pottery that we will be offering from the same collection as the fine early Roman glass we sold on eBay a few years back. They were acquired from an advanced collector who purchased them from Baidun Fine Antiquities in Israel. Offered in this auction: The piece offered in this listing measures 5 3/8 inches high and 3 3/4 inches in diameter. CONDITION: Appears to be very good. Chips on lip of spot and slight chips and wear to sides of handle and edges of vessel. Slight surface degradation in spots, loss of pigment, etc. Looks very, very good, as you can see in the pictures. May have had slight restoration, but nothing that stands out. Guaranteed to be an authentic piece. According to the Baidun certificate, this fine example of ancient Greek pottery was found in the Mediterranean coastal city of Ashkelon, south of Tel Aviv, Israel. REGARDING THE RETURN POLICY: We are very familiar with ancient Native American pottery from an archeology background, but we have no expertise in antiquities, thus we are relying upon the Baidun provenance and Certificates which were obtained with the item from the world traveler from whose collection we acquired it.
