UP FOR BID IS AN ANTIQUE THREE GALLON "BLUE RIBBON BRAND" STONEWARE JUG. MANUFACTURED BY BUCKEYE POTTERY CO. MACOMB, ILL. MEASURES APPROX. 15 IN. TALL / 31 1/2 IN. AROUND THE MIDDLE / 9 3/4 IN. ACROSS THE BOTTOM. WEIGHS APPROX. 13 1/2 POUNDS. DOES SHOW THE USUAL IMPERFECTIONS OF OLD STONEWARE ~ RAISED/UNEVEN SPOTS THAT WERE GLAZED OVER, "PINPOPS" IN THE GLAZE, OVERALL GLAZE CRAZING AND DISCOLORATION. THERE IS A CHIP TO THE TOP RIM (PICTURE 10) AND A COUPLE OF SMALLER ONES ON THE BOTTOM OF THE JUG. ENLARGE THE PICTURES TO GET A BETTER IDEA AS TO THE CONDITION. OVERALL, NOT "MINT", BUT I WOULD STILL CONSIDER IT IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING THE AGE AND USE OF THE JUG OVER THE YEARS!! INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING COST.
