This
listing is for
American Girl
doll Molly's
Bike, released
in 1998 and
retired in
2005. Please
read the
entire description--sold
as-is, or for
parts/repair.
Molly's
bike is
designed like
a typical
1940's
two-wheeler.
It features a
basket
attached to
the front
handlebar,
horn (doesn't
work; part of
horn is
missing),
light (needs
new battery),
elastic toe
clips on the
pedals (right
pedal is
broken), rear
utility rack,
and rear wheel
stand. No
handlebar
mirror, though
I have the
mirror clip,
and will send
it with the
bike.
Please zoom in
on all of the
gallery
photos. My
daughters
loved this
bike and still
used it, even
without the
right pedal.
However, perhaps
this would be
best for
someone who
wants to
display Molly
on her bike,
or to pick up
a new pedal on
eBay, rather
than for a
child to play
with. It's
still a pretty
amazing
example of
what the older
accessories
were like. It
is heavy and
made entirely
of metal
except for the
pedals, seat,
and tires.
