Up for auction is a Watch Tool
Co./Webster Whitcomb Watchmaker Lathe with a nice tailstock and a Borel base. Its overall
condition is very good. The 8mm head stock spindle turns freely and the pulley
does not have any problems. The head stock is also marked "Hard". The drawbar threads are good. The tailstock can be
fitted with a Jacobs chuck or a 8mm collet holding adapter. This tailstock with
interchangeable quills is probably homemade, but is well done. All I have is
what you see pictured and the pictures are of the actual items for auction. I
do not have the chuck key, indexing headstock pin, collets, wrenches or motor,
sorry. Most of the plating on the sides of the bed has worn off. But, rust and
or pitting is not an issue. It does have little nicks and scratches from general
use.
