Seller: pennantique (3,515) 99%, Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ships to: US, Item: 272464501515 Penn Antique Restoration 31"x 80" Antique Victorian Solid Pine Entry Door w/Window & 4 Panels Lovely, antique, Victorian style door salvaged from an old home in Southwestern Illinois. It's made of solid heart pine, and has a square-shaped window and 4 raised panels. Please note that heartpine is the non-living, core of a pine tree, and not the soft, outer, living sap-wood. Since it takes 30 years for a pine tree just to develop just 1” of heart stock it is rarer, harder, more durable, more insect & rot resistant, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Although the window doesn't have any glass, we could add a piece of wavy glass, custom cut from our collection of old windows, or we could order and install a new one (i.e. beveled, tempered, privacy or frosted, etc.)--email us for a quote. Hardware: The door is not equipped with hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. * If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood, please email us for a quote. Condition: The upper hinge stile corner is pushed in as if it was impacted by something. There are also a couple of deep scratches in the same corner, but only on the interior side (see close up photo). Otherwise, the door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes--minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. See the last photo in this auction as an example of our work. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote. Uneven Width: The lock stile of the door is 1/4" wider at the top than the bottom. That is because it was unevenly cut at some point, most likely to compensate for a settling foundation. We could even the door's width to 31 1/2" or narrower, as well as make the door wider, taller, or shorter--email us for a quote. Swing: The door is currently set up to swing into the home towards the left. However, we could change it to swing towards the right--email us for a quote. Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, add glass, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote. Dimensions: Door: 31 1/2" - 31 3/4" W x 80 1/8" H x 1 3/4" D Window: 23" W x 20" H Too short or narrow? We could increase the height and width, email us for a quote. Shipping: MD, DC, DE, PA, NJ, NY, & New England: We deliver to these states every 2 - 3 weeks . Home delivery would be $75 - $125 depending on your location. Email us with the shipping zip code for an exact price. Eastern half of U.S. & Southwestern U.S.: We are doing deliveries in mid to late March.
