Seller: hank503 (15,568) 100% Top-Rated Plus, Location: Huntington, Indiana, Ships to: US, Item: 142179137336 This trio of hand carved pine (well, some conifer) panels was salvaged from a middle to late 1800s house (origin unknown…purchased at Brimfield) and display an appealing, worn paint history. Each measures app. 17 3/8” wide with the largest being 39 ½” tall; 17 ¼” tall and 10”. They are carved on ¾” single planks with hand chamfered and square cut edges (mixed) and depict stylized tobacco leaves? (2) and a squared rosette or sunburst. The smaller leaf has been glued back together along a vertical split. Their paint history encompasses well over a century of white, black, russet, Spanish brown and a fairly late forest green. The panels are not hand planed, so most likely postdate 1860s, even though the designs suggest a much earlier date. WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHIP WORLDWIDE IF ALLOWED BY USPS.
