Original, antique, pocket door hangers made by, "Richards, Wilcox Mfg. Co." of Aurora, IL during the late 1800's. Each hanger is made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron and comes with its 5, original, steel, installation screws. If you are unfamiliar with this type of hardware, these are the brackets installed at the top of a pocket door. Once 2 brackets are installed on 1 door, the door could be hung onto the rollers, which are mounted on a track. Once attached, the door could slide back and forth on the track. To remove the door, simply lift it up and off of the rollers. We removed these from large pair of oak pocket doors, each weighing about 200lbs, that we recovered from a barn in Northwestern Missouri. Since these hung out inside of a wall for most of their lives and spent the rest of their time in a barn, they are unpainted and in excellent condition. No hairline or stress cracks anywhere; no breaks, gouges, dents, or any other weak points. They are ready to be re-used for another 100+ years!
