Seller: pennantique (3,515) 99%, Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ships to: US, Item: 262740912988 Penn Antique Restoration 25.5"x74.5" Antique Primitive Batten Plank Door & Jamb Beautiful, antique door salvaged from Northeastern Missouri. The door is constructed of solid pine or Douglas Fir. Both sides are painted white. One side has just the 4 long, bead-board planks, and the other also has 2 cross rails that add strength and stability to the planks. We didn't personally remove the door, so I don't know exactly where it came from, but my guess would be that the door was used for a shed or some kind of storage room. It's too short to be for a barn or stable. Not sure if it came from a farm, or just a country home. Regardless where it came from, it is still cool! Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a few pieces to outfit the door in our eBay store). * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Uneven Width: The door was either built with a board that tapers on one side, or the board was unevenly cut by 1/2" at some point. Condition: The door is strong and sturdy, and has cosmetic blemishes from top to bottom, which in this case should be looked at as, "character marks," which only enhance the overall distressed quality of the piece. The last 4 photos show some of the shallow cracks, chips, and dents that the door has. In 99% of our door auctions, we offer restoration services, but in this case, this one of those doors that is best left, "as is," and either used for decoration, a movie set prop, or a part of the home that is specially designed to look old and distressed. However, if you really want the door tweaked in anyway, please email and let us know what you would like done and we'll give you a quote. Dimensions: 25 1/4" - 25 3/4" x 74 1/4" (3/4" thick boards and with the 2 cross rails the overall thickness is 1 1/2") Shipping: MD, DC, DE, PA, NJ, NY, & New England: We deliver to these states every 2 - 3 weeks . Home delivery would be $50 - $100 depending on your location. Email us with the shipping zip code for an exact price. * If you need the item sooner or are located outside of our delivery range, we could crate and ship with a commercial freighter--email us for a quote. * Pick up in Scranton, PA is also welcome. No "pick up" charges applied Close ups of the shallow cracks, chips, and dents on the door Condition: Beautiful, antique door salvaged from Northeastern Missouri.
