Seller: pennantique (3,514) 99%, Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ships to: US, Item: 272464090777 Penn Antique Restoration ~ 2 available ~ 30"x84"x1.75" Antique Colonial Style Interior Doors w/6 Panels *Although there are 2 doors available, the list price is for 1 door. If you are planning on buying just 1 door, please email us after the auction to let us know which of the 2 you would like.* Elegant, antique interior doors salvaged from an old building in Harlem, NY. Each door is made of solid pine and has 6 raised panels on each side. If you think that pine is a weak, soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. Hardware: The doors are equipped with 2, new, brass-plated steel hinges, and the original lockset holes have been plugged with solid wood. We have a good selection of locksets in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. Quirks & Considerations: We got the doors from a customer of ours in a trade. She had the doors built up from 79 1/2" to 84" (2" at the top and 2 1/2" at the bottom). Door#2 has a 1/4" slant because one of her doorways is slightly crooked. We could easily straighten it out for $10. The additional pieces are made of oak, which is much harder than pine and will not dent and scratch as easily. Condition: The doors are in great condition and only have the typical nicks, scrapes, and scratches that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, once the doors are sanded and painted, these blemishes will either be removed or only appear as subtle "character marks." Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the doors to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. See the last photo in this auction as an example of our work. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote. Modification: We could also modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote. Shipping: MD, DC, DE, PA, NJ, NY, & New England: We deliver to these states every 2 - 3 weeks . Home delivery would be $75 - $125 depending on your location. Email us with the shipping zip code for an exact price. * If you need the item sooner or are located outside of our delivery range; we could crate and ship with a commercial freighter--email us for a quote. * Pick up in Scranton, PA is also welcome. No "pick up" charges applied Door #1: 29 3/4" W x 84" H x 13/4" D (right swing) Door #2: 29 3/4" x 84" - 84 1/4" H x 1 3/4" D (right swing) These doors have plenty of life left!
