Seller: paulaskitclub (1,071) 100%, Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, Ships to: US, Item: 112217389299 Okay, long story..... I used to live in Burbank, CA, and our neighbor worked for the city. I guess they were cleaning out a warehouse or something and he wanted to know if we wanted some street lights. We bought 2. My husband was going to make some sort of lamps for the house with them or put them on poles in our yard. We moved to Colorado and the lamps came with us. They were stored in the basement for 23 years. My husband died, I moved and downsized and, yep, I still have the lamps! They are amazing and so unique but I have nowhere to put them or store them. It's time for someone creative to put them to use. I believe they are bronze but am not positive about that. My guess is they were from the 1940's, possibly earlier but I've had them for about 35 years in storage. I have assembled them both and I believe all the parts to be there. You might need to replace a screw or two but for the most part, they are complete. One is GLASS, the bigger one. The smaller one has a plastic lens. I broke the original glass one by accident and our neighbor was only able to find a plastic one and it's a bit smaller. You can't tell by looking at them really. If they were up high you'd never know. They will need to be wired, of course, if you want to make them functional lamps. Super great pieces of history. Here are the specs: The glass one is approx. 30" tall when sitting in the base and approx. 18" in diameter. The plastic one is approx. 27" tall when sitting in the base and approx. 16" in diameter. The metal part that would attach to a pole is approx. 7 1/8" in diameter. Will ship but shipping is not included in the price. I will have to have them packed at a UPS store to make sure they arrive safely. They don't weigh a lot but are fragile. My guess would be around $100-$125 depending on your location but buy purchasing you agree to pay for shipping with no amount added for handling. You pay what I will pay to have them packed/shipped. I had to put something in the eBay shipping field so I guessed 40 pounds. That is a total guess but should be close enough. Use photos as your guide with regards to condition. Feel free to email me with any questions. PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF AUCTION ENDING. Please feel free to email with any questions I have not addressed here.
