This plate was cracked and badly repaired a long time ago. Recently re-repaired, it looks a lot better. However, the original repair prevents the halves from fitting together perfectly; the crack is still somewhat visible. On display the crack is barely noticeable, and does not detract from the plate's considerable charm and colourful attractiveness. Please look closely at the pictures for general condition. This plate should be considered for display only. I do not think it is in good enough condition or quite old enough to be collectible. There is no mark on the back - possibly the plate is much older than I think it is (my dating is based on family considerations...).  Low reserve. Buyer pays $9 s+h. I pay the difference plus insurance, and refund any over payment. It's pretty straightforward; no returns.  I have a second, almost identical plate, complete with repaired crack. If the winner of this auction wants both, please contact me before paying.
