Recently I found some great "treasures" at several local estate sales, including this unique vintage perfume bottle called "My Jerrycan" put out by Marc Fael, Paris, France in the early 1940's - a tribute to World War II. It is made of metal (copper or brass?) and has his name etched on the base of the can which measures 1 1/4" x 1 3/4". When I shake it, I can hear sloshing, indicating that there's still perfume inside. It comes inside the original cardboard box with a little metal knob on the side to help open it. There is wear & some discoloration & soiling on the box which has "Box made in France" printed on the base. A unique addition to any vintage perfume collection!
