Seller: cashmere99 (726) 99.3%, Location: Buffalo, New York, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 262657091058 This beautiful fireplace mantel was removed from a house in buffalo that was built in 1890s ! Soapstone countertops seem to be all the craze lately because it's a non-porous natural stone. Its natural color is light gray, and darkens to black when mineral oil is applied. Elegant serpentine curves with beveled edge. Flat backside has slight edge chips, but a thin bead of caulk or light sand would easily erase those blemishes. This oldie could be re-purposed as a kitchen shelf to match countertops, or marry it with an old fireplace surround. Personal inspections welcomed. I also have soapstone box sinks from 1950s available, but sold separately. Mantel measurements : 1x12x60 inches and around one hundred pounds. Thanks for viewing !
