1887 GAR Lucious Fairchild Map of Illinois Central Railroad System

GAR Souvenir showing the route, by railroad, of Commander-in-chief Lucius Fairchild and his staff will pass. 

It also maps out the East Coast and Southern States with rail lines and battlefields in the War of the Rebellion, Civil War.

The front card shows a picture and a photocopy signature of Lucius Fairchild, GAR Banner and the year 1887.  The map is attached to this card and is on thinner paper and folds out.  The front card shows wear and bending at the edges, slight water stain in upper right corner.  This item is not complete. The map is clear and is starting to separate at the folds due to the thinness of the paper and use.  the card measures 7 1/2 inches X 5 3/4 inches.
