• The Okinawa nunchuck - a martial arts weapon - is based on the flail. This is an actual flail that was likely used on a farm in western New York. It hasn't been fully tested - we can not do so without wheat ? .... But it does spin nicely in the air. So the same way you can play an air guitar, you can air flail the make-believe grain stalks. Sold as is. This primitive farming implement is most likely from the mid/late1800s or early 1900s. We do not have an actual or definite date on this item. But, based on the design, we believe it to be quite old. You need to make that determination for yourself as we are not experts in this area. Please view the pictures and forward any questions. Thank you.
