VERY NICE!****************************************************
Japanese Porcelain intended for the United Kingdom Market during the early 1900s was marked "Foreign" instead of Made in Japan which was required after 1921.
There are 10 pieces to this group:
** The Covered Sugar is about 4-1/2" high.
** The Creamer is about 4-3/4" high at the handle.
** The 4 Saucers are about 4-1/4" across.
** The 4 Cups are Demitasse size and measure about about 2-1/4" high and about 2-1/8" across the top.
In very good vintage condition -- no cracks or crazing -- one chip on the inside rim of the sugar that you can see in the picture -- they are translucent as you can see in the last picture -- the hand painted decorations are very good with very little wear -- there is wear to the gold on the rims and handles and inside the creamer as you can see in the pictures.
All pieces are marked "Foreign"
A nice addition to Your Collectible Early Japanese Porcelain. ****************************************************Thanks for Looking.
