Use Citrine to make raw gemstone jewelry, wire wrapping, cutting, cabbing, polishing, rock tumbling and macramé.
Citrine, a member of the quartz family has a MOHS hardness of 7. Stones ranked MOHS 6.5 or higher processed in a tumbler have the potential to develop a high polish and will make very attractive jewelry. Also the pieces should cab well.
Other stones with an MOHS hardness of 7 can be combined with your Yellow Citrine and tumbled together. Popular three pound tumblers can easily run stone batches of two pounds plus fillers and grit.
The rocks were photographed wet to simulate their polished potential. The pictures are a representative sample of the latest shipment we received, and from which your one half pound will be selected.
When you receive your order, remember that the specimens in the photos were photographed wet to simulate their polished potential. To make a fair comparison between the items you receive and our eBay photos run water over yours as we did when we took the pictures.
